Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini

Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini

A close friend gave us a bottle of Hangar 1's Fraser River Raspberry vodka, and on a whim we tried it in a lemon drop. Big hit! Read our post for more info...

Recipe

Ingredients (serves 2):

Ice
1/2 fresh lemon
1 1/2 ounces Hangar 1 Fraser River Raspberry vodka
1 1/2 ounces Absolut Citron vodka
1 1/2 ounces Cointreau
2 ounces premium lemonade (Simply Lemonade or Newman’s are our favorites)
Fresh raspberries, for garnish (if available)

Directions:

  • Skewer some fresh raspberries and place in freezer (optional, for garnish)
  • Fill cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Squeeze in the juice of 1/2 of a lemon.
  • Add the vodkas and Cointreau.
  • Top with the lemonade.
  • Sugar the rims of two chilled martini glasses (optional).
  • Shake the drink briskly for 10-15 seconds.
  • Serve raspberry lemon drops in the chilled glasses. Garnish with frozen raspberry skewers.

Bartender’s Tip:  For best mixing results, use a cocktail shaker for your raspberry lemon drop that’s large enough to allow for at least 1 inch of empty space after adding all ingredients.  And then shake your raspberry lemon drop until the shaker is frosted on the outside.

I love this recipe! Thank you so much! I love how beautiful the presentation is! I served them for a party we hosted. All of our guests love the recipe! I pulled my iPad out and shared your site with them all, Please tell me where I can find the cocktail pick?

Hey Brandy, thanks for your comment! This is one of our favorite cocktails and it’s always been a crowd-pleaser. We’re so happy to hear your guests enjoyed it too and we really appreciate you taking the time to let us know that our recipe worked out so well.

We’ve had those sterling silver cocktail picks for years but can’t remember where we bought them. We looked through google images this morning and found a couple links for you. Someone has a set of the exact same picks for sale here on ebay, and an Etsy artist has a similar set here…good luck!

      Cheers!

The “Print” button propmps saving to a board rather than opening print options. Any way to fix that?
The recipe looks great and I’d like to print it.

    • Bartender says:

Hey Patty! It sounds like you’re clicking/tapping on the big red “P” that shows up when you hover over the picture on the recipe; that’s a link to Pinterest which is why it’s asking which board you’d like to pin to. Instead, please look to the right of the ingredients list, and click/tap on the printer picture that you should see there (with the word Print under it). Hope that helps — cheers!

Just made this for our neighbors. They loved it. We don’t like sweet drinks so I cut the cointreau to .5 for two martini’s. The lemonade made it plenty sweet. We will be making these a lot❤️
